What if I don't have a new battery can I plug back the fire alarm?

I wish people knew how crappy these wallets are. They just push so many ads. There’s plenty of better alternatives.

I’ve had my Parliament for 2+ years. The button on it started sticking several months ago, so I finally decided to check out what was wrong. I cleaned out the aluminum inside with alcohol soaked q-tips (the long wooden kind). Surprisingly, not very dirty. Put a drop of gun oil on something that looked like a hinge/spring that lifts up the cards. No Improvement. So I studied the mechanics of the wallet some more, and I figured out what happening. The flip-up hinge that lifts the cards up is getting stuck against the aluminum case. I’m guessing the aluminum case is just barely getting squished, especially if guys are sitting on their Ekster. The fix was easy….once you find a good tool for the job. For me, it was a skinny tooth brush. I slid it down to the bottom and then just slightly rotated the tooth brush to make the case bulge….just a little! I did it so little that I couldn’t notice any change, but it changed it enough to completely fix the sticking issue. It was like a new wallet again. I even decided to clean and wax the leather after, cuz now I know I can get another 2+ years out of it.

Hey quick tip. Highest threat works when ur being interdicted. This means as well as the name the actual ship type and commander name will be known and if its a wing. This will help u decide if u want to fight em. For example u do highest threat and see its a sidewinder then u can jump out. If its an anaconda evade lol😅. I program my own commands and use windows voice and alow it down to make it sound like the titan ai from titanfall lol.

Honestly i really like it. The people that have the ejector jamming issue are probably the ones that are pushing it for fun multiple times lol the main card you use should go behind the back plate and keep 5 cards in the main slot and you'll be fine.

At least your button work, as much money as i paid i cannot get my cards out making it worthless after 3 months. button does absolutely nothing was hoping this was a repair video. nope just a 😐 review and yea don’t put electronics in the sun, what did you think was going to happen? common sense says you would get nicks and scrapes on metal

Use some wd40 for the button :) it did wonders for mine

For the high price do Ekster offer a extra band

I assume you do have rebuy ins from that close call? As a newbie did you lose your awards after escaping or restarting with the bug issue?

Ekster wallets are trash they dont last ans they only give u a year warranty cause they know the button dont last i switched to secrid wallets u get a 3 year warranty and the button is alot better ans made better tje wallets last years compared to ekster

I don't know how long this has been a feature: But you can say yellow (or red) alert before dropping into combat and it'll prepare you for combat when you drop in.

For anyone wondering; The jamming isn’t from wear and tear. I bought a brand new Ekster Parliament wallet, straight out of the box, the button jammed like it did in this video. I figured it was just a bad batch, so I returned and exchanged for another. Same exact thing. It could be due to just cheap springs and components (im not sure) It sucks because it’s such a nice wallet and I would love to use it, but the jamming just turns me off; especially for $75 I’d expect the thing to pop cards out smoothly and effortlessly; it does not.

Tracker card defective and no support. Mine came with no charge, and would not charge or operate. Tried to contact Ekster via their chat facility (you cant call them) and no response other than "thanks for reaching out!". It is a scam. Avoid the tracker.

In my humble opinion. I like a wallet that had wear and tear. As long as it still works. It shows how long you've had it and still functions

Life support doesn’t refill, the only way to get the oxygen back is to dock and hangar. (As far as i know) beside synth it.

Yours lasted a lot longer then mine it only lasted a day when the cards got stuck and it broke.

I purchased both Ekster and Code 118. Code 118 was delivered to a wrong address, i contacted code 118 about and they said they couldnt do anything so they offered a 30% off coupon for my next purchase lol.. the EKSTER wallet is a great wallet.. i am forusre going to keep buying from those guys.... quality. highly recommend

Bought this wallet and return it after 30 minutes. Barley holds anything is more bulky than my ridge. Waste of money for me.

So this is by far the worst product I have ever bought this wallet was a literal living nightmare!! The chipolo tracker card didn't work on day one and I left the outside in direct sunlight for 24 hours straight. Then after 2 WEEKS of using the wallet it working and all of my cards got jammed inside. I only put six cards which is not very much for me. My original wall I had about 15 cards in my wallet and I cut it my card I carry to more than half for something to break that quick shows me how cheap and a piece of junk this wallet is. I was at a store trying to check out and the store was about to close and my only for of payment was stuck in the wallet!!! I had to bang the wallet and fling it around and get the cards out and store was closing and they were about to make me put my items back and suddenly the car just clicked and it barely shot the cards out about a centimeter and I was able to wiggle them out. What a nightmare! I'm not going to ask for a replacement, I'm going to ask for a full refund. I'm going to put up a review on my RUclips channel about the poor quality of this wallet. I Emailed the company several times I tried to get a replacement and it took them three business days to get back to me because they don't have a freaking customer service phone number and then they told me I have to send them a video before they will replace it!!! WTF??? A VIDEO!? Are you joking!? Not cool at all. This is a terrible company to deal with and their customer service sucks!

I have this wallet and its great but it is compact..I have six cards in the slot and 3 behind the plate....there is no way I was paying extra for a tracking plate not only does it take up space but in my 30 years of carrying a wallet I have never lost it and I am not going to start now...the tracker is a cash grab but it is a great wallet

Just ordered mines today..

So I had this happen with an older parliament Wallet, Ekster covered it by their 1yr warranty. They sent me a new parliament wallet and I was able to change the color. Customer service was great. 2 yrs later and the trigger works just fine and doesn’t get stuck. I just ordered their new Carbon Fiber wallet and pretty stoked to use that.

It really sucks for me, because I can't even get the battery out, so now I need to have the maintenance man come and change the battery...which is going to take forever. 😫

I ordered the leather one (the Senate) exactly for this reason. Of course when you drop metal it's gonna get dinged up. Leather ages better. The spring mechanism is well mechanical. It's gonna malfunction if you drop it. I'm hoping the leather version is able to absorb drops a lot better

It probably sticks cause you got too many goddamn cards how many cards does somebody need 3 4 is good with their license and Wallets dont last forever even this one it's a good wallet

You've probably also learned more EVA control since you filmed this...I learned it the same way you did doing wild movements at first but it's about fine tuning your movements in space, much like how you control your ship with RCS thrusters....now I just kind of watch my movement relative to where I'm trying to go and add thrust in that direction or counter thrust with a reverse thruster...so say I'm moving too fast towards my ship with the ship almost directly in front of me, I'd want to slow down with 's' to reverse thrust against the forward movement vector....really it's about movement in 6 directions of space relative to your Kerbal's position so you'd want to think of your motion as a combination of those 6 vectors...all you need is fine tuning on those and soon you're able to masterfully EVA ballet through space. Just think of your EVA jetpack as a mini ship and use the same keys as you would for RCS translation with the same concept applied for your Kerbal and you'll have it down in no time! :)

You could use shift and control to throttle up and down just a slight bit instead of thrust limiting and using z and x keys for full/cut throttle...

They should make a larger version that can hold up to 10 cards.
